Listening&Speaking 教案

I. Teaching Aims

1. Knowledge aims:

1) Students will master the following words and phrases: invent, inventions, heel, scoop, electricity, be invented in, be used for.

2) To know the sentence structure:

----When was it invented? ----It was invented in 1876.

----What is it/ are they used for? ----They’re/ It’s used for ...........

2. Ability aims:

Students will master the sentence structure by listening and speaking. Using the structures to give a presentation about materials, usages of the creative inventions to the class.

3. Moral aims:

Students know that all great inventions come from ridiculous beginning. They should study hard and think creatively, and know the importance of creative thoughts and inventions.

II. Key and Difficult Points

1. Key points:

1) Students can master the key words and phrases.

2) Students can master the sentence structures and use them in a speech correctly.

2. Difficult points

Give a speech about their creative inventions by using key structures to introduce the function of their inventions.

III. Teaching Procedures

Task 1 Lead in

Guessing game: What inventions are they?

(设计意图:引入主题,第一次闪现be used for 句型)

Task 2 Listening 1b.

① Listen and match the inventions with the years.

Sharp-tougued (快嘴) Reporter.

Requirment: Report when the 4 inventions were invented correctly.
