hello ladies and gentlemen，my name is zhangjiaqi, I major in tourism managerment.I have been appealing by English since primary school. Though my spoken English still need to improve， I want to grab this opportunity to challenge myself.

Today, I'd like to to discuss（我习惯用talk about感觉比较顺口） the problem of generation gap

Nowadays, there is often a lack of understanding between parents and children. children always explain that their parents are out of date, while parents can't approve of what their children say and do. Thus, a big generation gap is formed. I still remember last winter vacation, when I got home, my mom stared at me in surprise: why are you getting so old-fashioned? Are you wearing your grandmother's trouser（一般比较口语化的是grandma）（trouser是英式说法，美式的是pant）? I looked down at my black and white checked trouser, which is a new fashion for retro pants. Then, l rolled my eyes saying that :this is our young generations fashion, ok? may be this is a good example of generation gap.

Generation gap refers to the differences in ideas and habits between two generations due to the differences in values, things in contact, moral standards and other aspects.

there is a gap of mental between the two generations. Teenages wouldn't like to pour their secrets out to their parents,even defend their own standards by againsting and contradicting their parents. people on both sides of the gap don't understand each other, what's worse, some of them harbor hostile to each other. （some 内容过长，仅展示头部和尾部部分文字预览，全文请查看图片预览。 f civilization also make China the most tolerant country of the gap in the world.

No matter how the times change, we are accompanied by the people we love the most in the end. so try to have more patience as well as try our best to understand our parents.
