Self- reflection is the study（探究） of one’s thoughts（想法） and actions. These days, most of us are too busy to （太忙了以至于）stop to do some careful self-reflection. However， it is actually an effective（有效的） way to achieve self- improvement（自我提高）.

When I was in Grade 8 ,I had a good friend whose name is John. At last I picked/worked up the courage to say sorry to him and we became best friends again。

From this experience, I have learned the importance of self -reflection. It can make us become better./It is the mother of progress. As long as we stick to self-reflection regularly(有规律地), we can avoid making the same mistakes and perfect ourselves（完善自我）。
