Unit 7 Protect the earth
一、教学目标:
a. knowledge
1. At the end of the class, students will be able to understand the following words, protect, Earth, useful, waste, reuse, energy,wood, cut down, plastic.
2. At the end of the class, students will be able to grasp the following sentence patterns, “We should, We should not… We use..to...”
b. Ability.
1. At the end of the class, students will be able to use the sentence patterns to express their opinions about the earth.
2. At the end of the class, students will be able to retell one of the stories.
c. Emotional.
At the end of the class, students will be able to understand the importance of protecting the earth and take actions in our daily life.
二、教学重难点
1. The important point is to let students understand the sentences patterns “We should/should not and We use...to...” and they use them to express their opinions about the earth freely and correctly.
2. The difficult point is to let all the students will be able to retell one of the stories.

PPT, books, learning plans.
四、教学过程:
Step 1. Warming up
Daily greeting
Let’s enjoy a video first, please watch it carefully.
Have a free talk. OK, How do you feel about this short video? What’s wrong with the Earth? What did some people do to the Earth? Show some pictures in the video, “people cut down the trees /destroy the forest. Heavy smog comes from many factories. Some wild animals are endangered.”

Step 6. Assignment
1. Try to retell the text after class.
