A Hindu saint（印度圣人）who was visiting the River Ganges to take a bath found a group of family members on the banks, shouting in anger at each other. He turned to his disciples(信徒) and asked, "Why do people shout in anger at each other?"

The disciples thought for a while, and one of them said, "because we lose calm, we shout." "But, why should you shout when the other person is just next to you? You can as well tell him what you have to say in a soft voice," asked the saint.

He looked at his disciples and said, "So when you argue, do not let your hearts get distant. Do not say words that distance each other more, or else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return."

Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player so far. Once he was making a television advertisement. All Michael needed to do in the advertisement was to miss a shot. For Michael, this was difficult. He always succeeded whenever he was throwing
the ball. Every time he threw a basketball, it went in. Every time he tried to miss a shot, he failed. In total, it took him over 20 times before he missed a shot.

For Michael, success is a strong habit. He had formed a habit which was so strong that it took him a lot of time to break it and “fail”. Just like drinking, smoking and collecting things, success is also a habit. Like all habits, once it is established, it is difficult to break. Many people think that success is difficult to maintain（维持）. They feel that it will be hard work and will need too much action and focus. The truth is that it is simply a habit, and as easy to keep as any other habit.

A bicycle may be seen by most people as just another vehicle, but for many Londoners, cycling is a way of life. According to an official UK government survey in 2017, about 570,000 bike journeys are made every day in London. In fact, almost half of the vehicles that pass over London Bridge each day are bikes.

London introduced a public bike-sharing system in 2010." There can be no doubt that our trusty bicycles have changed the way people get around our great city, "Johnson told The Guardian in 2015.

In London, bikes are used for more than just taking short trips to and from the subway. No matter where you want to go in the city, taking a bike is usually the quickest and easiest choice.

And it's not just shared bikes that the government is encouraging people to ride. In many companies across the UK, the UK government’s Cycle to Work scheme(骑行倡议) allows employees to buy a brand new bike without having to pay any tax.This means that it’s common to see many people cycling to and from work, and some employers even provide workplace showers and lockers for their workers. More importantly, a cycle-friendly boss may let you off for being late if you rode a bike to work.

Not only is it great for the environment and our body, cycling is also good for the mind . According to National Geographic Magazine, "Bike riding can improve people’s happiness.”
