T asks Ss a question, “What is an earthquake?” Several Ss show their opinions. And the T gives the answer.
Then T and Ss learn some strange things before an earthquake.
First of all, T shows some pictures about the new words and asks Ss to watch and read the new words.
Then T explains some uses of new words to Ss.
Next, T asks Ss to look at the pictures and ask
and answer the questions in groups.
Finally, the T asks Ss to look at the pictures and think about what to do in an earthquake.
First, Ss read the passage and check their answers to Activity 2.
Then Ss read the passage again and decide if the following actions are right or wrong.
