It was a sunny day yesterday. John played basketball in the hot sun for an hour. He felt very hot and thirsty so he went home. As soon as he got home, he had some ice cream and cold drinks. He also stood in front of the fan to cool himself.

After that, he had a terrible stomachache. His mom was worried about him and took him to the hospital. The doctor gave him some medicine and said, “You should have a good rest. And remember not to have cold food or drinks after exercise.”

Last Friday, I discussed with my classmates about what to do on the weekend. After discussing for several minutes, we decided to climb the mountain. On next morning, all of us got up early and went to the mountain together. The weather was fine, and we were very happy. However, when we finally got to the top of the mountain, we found that there was rubbish here and there. So we began to pick up the rubbish carefully and put it into the dustbin. Finally, the mountain was much cleaner. We were tired but happy.

Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?

Yesterday it was Women’s Day. The weather was fine. Mandy wanted to do something to celebrate the festival for her mother. In the morning, she began to wash the clothes and clean the toilet. In the afternoon, she went to buy a lot of fruit, vegetables and some beautiful flowers. In the evening, she cooked a big dinner. When her mother came back, she was quite happy.
