关于数字

在个人信息表题型中，经常会考到数字的拼写，有的是单纯的数字，有的则是数字和字母混杂在一起的。数字往往以几种形式出现：单纯的数字(百分比、分数等)、数字和字母的组合、以及带单位的数字。

单纯的数字

数字和字母混合

Fax number

Account number

Visa number

Flight number

Driver’s license number

Membership number

Medical card number

Student number

Passport number



注意：在数字和字母的组合中，字母须大写。

A．单纯的数字

百分比的读法： 0.5% point five per cent 小数点 . point 13.5% thirteen and half per cent 25% a quarter / twenty five per cent 50% a half / fifty per cent 75% three quarters / seventy five per cent

分数：1/4 one fourth 3/4 three fourths 5/8 five eighths

数字：hundred / thousand / million / billion / trillion

序数词：1st/ 1st 2nd/ 2nd 3rd/ 3rd 4th/ 4th 11th/ 11th 21st/ 21st 22nd/ 22nd 23rd/23rd 24th/ 24th

关于“0”： 在科技问题方面，读作zero, 在日常生活中，英国读naught, 在美国读zero, 在较长数字中，读作o /，还有nil/nought.

The temperature fell to 10 (degrees) below zero.

Put two nought after five.

B．单位与货币 Units and Currency

长度单位：centimetre (cm.) n.厘米 millimetre (mm.) n.毫米 inch n.英寸1 inch=2.54 cm foot n.英尺 (a foot ≈ 12 inches or 30.48 cm) (feet) kilometre (km.) n.千米 mile n.英里 (1 mile ≈ 1.6 km) light year 光年

重量单位：g gram (g.) n.克 kilogram (kg) n.公斤,千克 ounce (1 ounce ≈ 28.35 grams) n. 盎司 pound磅: ①常某某（略作lb.av.）=0.454公斤,指金银、药品以外的重量单位; ② 金某某(略作lb.t)=0.373公斤。指金属重量单位英镑（符号为￡） ton n.吨

容积和体积单位：litre (L.) n.升

cubic meter/ cubic metre 立方米 缩写:cu.meter / CBM / cu.m.

cubic centimetre 立方厘米 缩写:cu.cm / CBCM

cubic inch 立方英寸 缩写:cu.in.
