Step 1(7’):
Ⅰ.Go over key words and phrases of last class. (1’)
useless 无用的,无价值的 adj.
expression 表情,脸色,表达 n.
serious 认真的,严肃的 adj.
a great number of 很多
pleasure 愉快,乐事 n.
teach 讲授 v. taught - taught
Ⅱ.Warm up:(2’)
Play a Game ----Act and Guess(One student comes up to the platform to act his/her hobby, the others guess.)
Ask the final student why he/she like his/her hobby? Lead to the important expression of because.
Ⅲ. Ask students to make four sentences with the following sentence structure according to the pictures shown on PPT. (4’)
… hobby is …, because … .
1) His hobby is playing basketball, because it can relax himself.
2) His hobby is playing computer games, because it is interesting.
3) Her hobby is cooking, because it can make yummy food.

4)Ask two students to go up to blackbord to write down one sentence and tick out the mistake by teacher.
