课题名称：Hobbies and Interests

教学目标：

Knowledge :

To master the vocabulary: useless, expression, serious, a great number of, pleasure, teach

To learn the expression: My hobby is …, because … .

Skills:

To practice the Students’ ability of gaining key information by listening and reading and speaking.

To train students’ ability of communication by using the language learned in this unit.

Emotion:

To develop students’ abilities in team working, cooperation.

To stimulate students’ interest in learning English.

教学重难点：

Key points:

To get students understand hobbies’ expression.

To get students understand reasons’ expression.

Difficult points:

To get students learn to talk about their hobbies and reasons.

教学设计：

Step 1(7’)：

Ⅰ.Go over key words and phrases of last class. (1’)

useless 无用的，无价值的 adj.

expression 表情，脸色，表达 n.

serious 认真的，严肃的 adj.

a great number of 很多

pleasure 愉快，乐事 n.

teach 讲授 v. taught - taught

Ⅱ.Warm up：(2’)

Play a Game ----Act and Guess(One student comes up to the platform to act his/her hobby, the others guess.)

Ask the final student why he/she like his/her hobby? Lead to the important expression of because.

Ⅲ. Ask students to make four sentences with the following sentence structure according to the pictures shown on PPT. (4’)

… hobby is …, because … .

1) His hobby is playing basketball, because it can relax himself.

2) His hobby is playing computer games, because it is interesting.

3) Her hobby is cooking, because it can make yummy food.

4)Ask two students to go up to blackbord to write down one sentence and tick out the mistake by teacher.

Step 5: Homework: (Individual Work) (1’)
