Good morning, my dear judges. I’m candidate No.1, applying for the primary English teacher. It’s my great honor to be here and share my teaching ideas with all of you. Today, the lesson I’m going to talk about is Unit 4 of Grade 8“The Internet makes the world smaller ”Section C. I will divide my teaching plan into 7 parts: teaching material, students analysis, teaching objectives, teaching key and difficult points, teaching and learning methods, teaching procedure and blackboard design. Now I’m going to present them one by one.

Part1 Teaching Material

The topic of this lesson is the Internet makes the world smaller. It is chosen from PEP English book of Junior High School. Although this is the last lesson of the semester, learning this lesson well is important. Besides, the content of lesson is closely related to their daily life.

Part2 Analysis of students

Students in Junior high school have learned English for just few years, they have mastered some basic simple English knowledge, but it is still vary difficult for them to put what they have learned into daily use, which is what we should focus on.

Part3 Teaching objectives

Based on the analysis of teaching material and New Curriculum Standard. I set three following teaching objectives:

Knowledge objective: To learn and master new vocabulary, and learn the advantages and disadvantages of Internet.

Ability objective: To learn to introduce the front and reverse of a thing at the prompt of pictures or other keywords.

Last but not last is the blackboard design. As you can see, I have mainly used table to help students to get key points better and use them in their life.
