Analysis of the unit
Theme: We love animals The theme of the unit is we love animals. The main scenario diagram leads to the key topic of this unit by discussing their own small animals in clay sculpture class: ask and answer unknown animals or things.
The first lesson is situational dialogue and practice. In the let's talk section, Wu Yifan and Mike are playing hand shadow games, one doing and one guessing, which leads to the Q & a sentence of asking about nearby items in this unit: what's this? I and three words: duck, dog, bear. In the play part, students need to make sounds or do actions to imitate an animal, and other students guess the name of the animal.
