Unit5 WB reading task 教学设计
教材分析:
本单元的话题是“急救”,这是练习册中的一篇泛读课,通过阅读,旨在让学生了解家庭安全及火灾预防措施。本文主要从厨房,寝室,卫生间的安全措施,及其家庭火灾的预防四个角度组织全文。
二、学情分析:
学生很熟悉自己的家,很爱自己的家,但未必了解家庭也是一个潜伏着危险的地方。尤其是家里的一些惯常做法,虽然习以为常,但未必科学、安全。另外,学习英语语言的材料本身又是一个挑战。
三、学习目标:
1. Learn how to guess words according to the context and how to grasp the main idea by skimming.
2. Learn and memorize some home safety rules.
3. Being able to express your own practice at home in English.
4. Try to prevent accidents at home and enjoy your life.
五、教学方法及理论依据
1、通过语境猜测词义。
2、通过略读文章标题及小标题,观察插图等预测把握文章主旨大意,定位信息。
3、根据信息定位结果,查读具体细节。
依据新课程理念,教学应以学生为主体,教师为指导,重视实践体验,重视主动探索,重视合作竞争,重视评价方法多元化。本案以完成阅读任务为活动载体,开展课前展示,自主学习,合作探究,展示点评,当堂检测的高效课堂模式。
阅读过程体现先自上而下,构建宏观图式;后自下而上,准确理解细节;又交互补偿,读者和文本互动感知,升华主题,感悟人生。
六、教学过程:
Step 1:Lead in
Play a short video about fires in the kitchen to arouse students learning interest.
Step 2: Word preparing
1.A first-aid kit is a case or box in which you can get some necessary things to do first aid..
2.In winter the icy path can be wet and slippery.
3. If you want to reach something high, you can stand on a ladder to help you.
4.The water on the stove is boiling. Better turn off the gas.
5. In our home there are many electrical appliances---computers, TV sets, electric fans and so on.
6.Unplug all electric appliances such as TV sets, PCs when you are away to save electricity
7.Since your hair is all wet, why not use a hair dryer to dry it?
