Step 1 Warming up

Rabbit Dance

Game time:

T:Do you like this music?

S:Yes!

T:I like this music,too.Let’s play a game :“Left and right”!I say“Turn left”you turn left,and you say it loudly;And when I say“Turn right”you turn right,and you say it loudly,ok?

S:OK!

T: OK,boys and girls,turn right,turn left,turn left,turn right!

(学生跟着指令来动作并重复指令)

T:Good job!

Step 2 Presentation and practice

1. Look and guess

T:Now please look at the screen!What can you see in the picture?

S1:Moon Street!

S2:Park Station!

S3:Traffic lights!

S4:City Library Station!

S5:Yang Ling!.......

(把学生们说出的答案的地点贴在黑板上)

T：OK，look at Su Hai and Yang Ling,why are they talking about on the phone?

S:Because Yang Ling wants to visit Su Hai’s new home.

T:Yes!And what are they talking about?

S:Asking the way!

2.watch and answer

以熟悉的《兔子舞》作为开场导入left和right的游戏，操练短语turn left和turn right.

贴课题，分组读

观看动画，让学生带着问题看动画。

先对课文左边内容进行疏通，对个别站点进行带读和复述，找出到苏海家的主要路线。

对课文右半边的内容进行精读，利用教室的座位安排来把路线弄清楚。

总结所学，让学生自己根据提示的五幅图来复述路线。

举例苏海来我家，根据路线图和提示短语，填入路线说明图，完成课堂巩固。
