Students can make simple dialogues about what people are doing freely. talk about what people are doing freely by listening and talking on the phone.

Ss become able to identify the Constitution of Present Continuous Tense, and are willing to use the structure to communicate with others.



教学重难点

The structure of V+ing and The Constitution of Present Continuous Tense.

The use of the structure in practice.

Pictures of people doing things.



教学过程设计

二次备课



Step 1. Revision

1. Greetings.

2. Revise the words and expressions in Unit 4.

Step 2. Presatation: Lead in

1. Do “Ask and answer” practice with the Ss.

2. The teacher asks the students to give more verbs phrases and write them down on the blackboard.(show many pictures to help the Ss.)Teach the new words and expressions.

3. Teach the Present Progressive.

1)Introduction: Talk about the title of this unit. Show some pictures to introduce the Present Progressive tense.

T: What’s she/he doing?

Ss: She/He is v-ing (Help the Ss to answer the questions and show the sentences)

2) Let the Ss to say what the Present Progressive is.

(现在进行时表示现在正在进行或发生的动作, 它的表现形式为:Be Verbs + V-ing ….)

3). Tell the difference
