一、找主干

1、找连词——长句一分为二/多，各个击破

A is singing,B is dancing.

逗号不能直接连接前后两个句子

逗号→and/when （连词）

（1）并列连词

常见：and、or but、yet

形式：词+词（n.+n. v.+v,） 句+句

总结：并列连词连接前后相同成分；一般从后往前找相同

（2）从属连词

①无实义，不做成分：that if/whether

②连接代词：who，whom，whose，what，which，whatever，whoever，whichever

③连接副词：when,where,why,how,however,whenever,wherever

即w疑问词/how+that，一般连接完整句子

2、找谓语动词

并列连词可连接词与词，也可连接句与句，判断是句还是词就看是否有谓语动词。

一定是谓语动词的形式：（区分谓语动词和非谓语）

（1）第一二人称+动词原形

（2）动词三单形式s/es

（3）be+v-ing

（4）情态动词(will,would,could,must)+do

（5）has/have/had+done

（6）be+done

（7）祈使句中的动词

例1：While talking to you,your could-be employer is deciding whether your education,your experience,and other qulifications will pay him to employ you and your “wares” and abilities must be displayed in an ordely and reasonably connected manner.

第一步：连词 第二步：谓语动词

补充：

（1）while 状语从句的省略

是从属连词，应该连接完整句子，此句中后面是talking to you，doing不是谓语动词，此处是状语从句的省略

Eg:When I was young, I could study English.

When young，I could study English.

状语从句省略条件：主句与从句主语一致，且从句谓语动词含有be动词

例2：In making a blueprint for a job,begin with yourself,for when you know exactly what you have to offer,you can intelligently plan where to sell your services.

找连词：when，what，where

找谓语动词：begin，know，have，plan
