Teaching goals 教学目标

1. Target language 目的语言

a. 重点单词和短姙

have a “nose” for a story, get a scoop, get

3)Only if you ask ... will you acquire ...

4)Not only am I interested in photography, but I took a course at university, so it’s actually of special interest to me.

2. Ability goal 能力目标:

1) Enable the students to talk about qualities needed to be a good reporter and how to conduct a good interview.

2) Train the students’ reading abilities(skimming, detail reading).

学情分析

Most of students in our school come from countryside. Their English is very poor.They are not confident of learning English well. To? our students,they are?unwilling to review what they have learned,so they can not grasp? the knowledge well. The reading abilities aslo need to be improved by doing a lot of practice.

Teaching important points重点:

Help the students learn about the qualities need to be a good reporter, how to get an accurate story and how to protect a story form accusation.

Help the students to understand the passage better.

Learn and master the important words and phrases in this period

Train the students reading abilities
