一、教学目标:

1)自主预习掌握下列词汇:stepsister, prince, couple, smile, marry , get married, fit, fall in love21om
2)对如何讲述故事(开始、发展、结束及启示)进行归纳总结,进一步复习巩固Section A 部分的故事
3)掌握unless, as soon as, so…that的用法,并通过讲述不同故事进行练习,真正做到词汇在语篇中的理解及运用。

阅读是人类进步的阶梯,多读书,读好书,从书中汲取知识及智慧。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点:
1) 对如何讲述故事(开始、发展、结束及启示)进行归纳总结。
2) 把unless, as soon as, so…that运用到故事中去,提升故事的连贯性。

三、教学过程
Step 1 Revision
1. Retell the story Yu gong Moves a Mountain. (Review steps to tell stories)世纪*教育网
T:Show some pictures of the story and give the questions
S: Try to retell the stories.
Write down the key phrases unless, as soon as, so…that
2. Let Ss tell something about the Monkey King.教fill
The Monkey King is the main character from the famous Chinese story Journey to the West. He is wonderful because he helps weak people. The Monkey King has a magic stick. He uses it to fight bad people. He can make the stick big or small. He can sometimes make the stick so small that he can put it in his ear. As soon as he sees bad people, he thinks of ways to fight them. He can turn himself into different animals or objects. But unless he can hide his tail, he cannot make himself a human. Children all over the world love the Monkey King.
Let students translate the sentences with unless, as soon as, so…that
3. Now let fill in blanks with the two stories.
