Teaching plan:

Unit 1 Book1 Language Points (Revision)

Tangshan No. 1 High School, Yang Wei

Teaching objectives:

1. Guide students to review some important words in this unit

Inspire students to consolidate language points by various activities

Elaborate on how to build up vocabulary bank during the process of revision

Cultivate students’ ability to use words in authentic context

Important and difficult points:

1. Students learn how to build up vocabulary bank during the process of revision

2. Guide students to learn and use words in authentic context.

Teaching procedure:

Step1. Lead-in (3分钟)

Enjoy a song “Auld Lang Syne”, and introduce the activities that students are going to have in this class.

Step2. Presentation

Task 1: 爱”拼”才会赢! (word spelling) (Pair work ) (6分钟)

1) Students translate, read and spell the words working in pairs, then the teacher explain to the students the rules of word formation.
