Teaching Objectives:

Knowledge Objective: Ss can learn more words and phrases about travel.

Ability Objective: Ss can know how to write a passage about travel in English.

Emotional Objective: Ss can learn more about the tourist attractions of China, and develop the interest in English and traveling.

Key Points: Ss can learn many expressions about travel.

Difficult Points: Ss can make words and phrases into sentences, and make sentences into passage.

Teaching Aids: PPT pictures paper stickers

Teaching Process:

Warming up

1. Listen an English song Traveling Light and think what the song is about.

2. The topic is Travel.

二、Pre-writing

1. Learning objectives.

2. PPT show pictures which are on the back of RMB, and let student to guess where they are. (West Lake, Mount Tai, Three Gorges, Guilin, Potala Palace and the Great Hall of the People)

3. Game time

Ss discuss in groups and stick the paper in their hands to the corresponding pictures on the wall.

4. Give five questions and let Ss to express. Ss use their words to describe their travel and then teacher show the sentence patterns. Let Ss use these sentence patterns to describe their travel. Ss can have chance to discuss with partner and show on the back blackboard. And other students can have chance to make evaluation.

三、Writing

Give Ss 10 minutes to write the passage Un Unforgettable Travel .

四、Post-writing

Ss exchange their passages to others in their groups, and choose a better one in each group.

总之,这次上岗课让我受益匪浅,自己准备的过程是成长的过程,和老师们的交流的过程也是成长的过程,正式上课和学生一起学习的过程是成长的过程,上岗课结束后进行反思的过程也是成长的过程!成长的同时也发现了自身的不足之处,在今后的日子里,要继续努力学习,学习新思想,学习新模式,向优秀教师学习。
