Teaching Aims:

1. To ask the students to master the major test points of noun clauses.

2. Practice using noun clauses freely and correctly.

Teaching important points:

连接词 （1） that/what

（2）whether/if

（3） no matter+疑问词/疑问词+ever

(4 ) it 作形式主语的主语从句

Teaching procedure:

Step 1 Lead-in

Analyze the function of nouns：

The universe began with a Big Bang. （主语）

I earned my passage by working as an unpaid hand.（宾语）

I am a student. （表语）

Their friend, Danny Lin was waiting at the airport. （同位语）

Step2 /基础知识回顾

Definion:

在英语句子中，名词可以充当主语、宾语、表语或同位语。本来该由名词充当的主语、宾语、表语或同位语，由一个句子来当，这个句子就叫名词性从句。

Conjunctives:

连接词

?that, /whether, if,

连接代词

?what, whatever ,who , whom, whose, which

充当从句的_____._____._____.定语

考点一. that, what, which

that 引导名词性从句，在句中不作任何成分，只起连接作用，无实际意义，位于句首不能省略

what 引导名词性从句时，其意义为 “什么，所……的等”，在从句中充当主语、宾语、表语、或定语。 既能引导从句，又能在从句中做成分。

which 引导名词性从句，其意义为“哪一个”，可以指人也可以指物，

是在已知的具体的人、事、物当中 进行选择。
