Greet the whole class as usual.
Step 2 Revision
Review some important words and phrases in the project with the students.

?Phrases: play a role in, intend to do sth, no matter+wh, wh-ever, break up,appeal to, be based on, discriminate from A and B…….
? Step 3 Lead-in
T: The topics we are going to deal with are related to art and painting. The art of painting has been around for many thousands of years. In prehistoric times, people painted on the walls of caves. With the development of painting skills and painting materials, people created different types of painting.
Task 1: Ask the students to search for the information about different types of painting and the famous painters you are interested in on the internet or in the books.
