Lesson 31 Don’t Fall教学设计

教学目标

掌握单词及短语:champion , relative , stand on one foot, set a new world record ,break a record .

熟练运用疑问词组:how long

初步了解形容词、副词比较级的用法。

过程与方法

上课让学生通过小组合作的形式学习新的词汇,交流探讨老师提出的问题。教师通过幻灯片向学生展示教学内容,让学生在轻松愉快的环境中学习。

情感态度与价值观

通过谈论学生熟悉的运动,培养学生热爱运动、热爱生活的意识。

I want to set a new world record.

I have been standing on one foot for more than three minutes.

In seven hours and fifty-seven minutes,you’ll be the champion.

教学难点

灵活运用疑问词组:how long

形容词、副词比较级的用法。

幻灯片、图片,录音机

教学过程

Step1. Lead-in

Discuss the following questions:

1、 What world records do you know of ?

2、Can you set a record in your class? What is it?

Ask the students to talk for three minutes in groups.The teacher shows some pictures about different sports.

Step2.Learn by oneself

1、champion n.冠军

eg:Who will be the new long-jump champion?

2、relative n.亲戚(关系疏远)distant relative 远方亲戚

relation n.亲属(包括父母子女,不仅有血缘关系还有法律地位)

eg:He is my distant relative.
