Lesson 31 Don’t Fall教学设计

教学目标

掌握单词及短语：champion , relative , stand on one foot, set a new world record ,break a record .

熟练运用疑问词组：how long

初步了解形容词、副词比较级的用法。

过程与方法

上课让学生通过小组合作的形式学习新的词汇，交流探讨老师提出的问题。教师通过幻灯片向学生展示教学内容，让学生在轻松愉快的环境中学习。

情感态度与价值观

通过谈论学生熟悉的运动，培养学生热爱运动、热爱生活的意识。

教学过程

Step1. Lead-in

Discuss the following questions:

1、 What world records do you know of ?

2、Can you set a record in your class? What is it?

Ask the students to talk for three minutes in groups.The teacher shows some pictures about different sports.

Step2.Learn by oneself

1、champion n.冠军

eg:Who will be the new long-jump champion?

2、relative n.亲戚（关系疏远）distant relative 远方亲戚

relation n.亲属（包括父母子女，不仅有血缘关系还有法律地位）

eg:He is my distant relative.
