Unit 4 Body Language 教学设计与教学反思

The first period Warming up and reading

Teaching goals

1. Target Language

a. 重点词汇和短语

misunderstand, similar, facial, expression, agreement, yawn,

b. 重点句型或交际用语

Act out the following meanings, please.

Please guess what I mean.

Please use both spoken words and body language to express your ideas.

2. Ability goals

a. Enable the students to understand what a certain gesture of the body language means in a given situation.

c. Enable the students to express with the target language the meanings given in body language.

3. Learning ability goals

a. Help the students learn how to express themselves in body language when needed.

b. Help the students understand others when body language is being used.

Teaching important points

Teach the students how to use body language in the most appropriate occasions.

Teaching difficult points

Let the students know that there is both positive body language and negative body language.

Teaching methods

a. Individual work, pair work and group work.

b. Acting out by imitation, mime or with gestures and body movement.

Teaching aids

A computer, a projector and some pictures.

Teaching procedures & ways

I. Warming up

Warming up by acting

通过对这一课进行全面反思后,我认识到要善于处理好教学中知识传授与能力培养的关系,巧妙地创设能引导学生主动参与的活动及情境,让学生在实践中学习,才能不断地激发学生的学习积极性与主动性,既培养学生的学习兴趣,又培养学生思维能力、想象力和创新精神,使每个学生的身心都能得到充分的发展。

经过一次又一次的反思——提高——再反思——再提高的过程,我受益匪浅,也更加深刻地认识到了在教学中及时反思的重要性和必要性,它会使我逐渐形成自我反思的意识和自我监控的能力。在今后的教学中,我会通过不断地反思来提高自己的教学水平和创新能力。
