Unit12 Life is full of the unexpected.
一、设计理念
通过本篇阅读,使学生在掌握一定阅读技巧的前提下,对于文章的结构进行分析,从而激发学生阅读的兴趣,通过文本的梳理,让学生们从中获取一些对于愚人节的信息和对待玩笑的态度。
二.教学目标
1. 知识目标:
阅读全文,让学生了解发生在愚人节的小故事,通过对故事的梳理,让学生学会announce,?spaghetti,?hoax,?sell?out,?discovery,?lady,?cancel,?officer等的含义,初步感知它们的用法。
2. 能力目标:
通过阅读,学习阅读的相关技巧,提高阅读水平。通过语篇中的段落首句,激活相关背景,预测文章内容。通过mind-map,提高学生总结和反思的能力
3. 情感目标:
了解国外愚人节风俗,帮助学生了解愚人节,开玩笑不能伤害别人的感情ask1.Read the passage quickly and match the main idea of each paragraph

(设计意图:先整体阅读第二段,了解两个故事的大体内容,然后分别细读两个故事,通过“问题推进”形式帮助学生了解故事的经过和结果,让学生对于愚人节所发生的电台或电视上的恶作剧有一个认识,让他们明白在英国愚人节是可以在电视上播出的,阅读过程中逐层搭建思维导图,帮助学生梳理文本。)

(设计意图:通过前两个故事的学习,对第三段的故事梳理加深了他们对于框架的熟悉,在阅读中构建思维导图)
Task 5.Culture gap
(设计意图:通过对愚人节故事的了解,用两组新闻主播的图片让他们明白西方国家对于愚人节的容忍度比中国高,拓展了一些愚人节的文化背景)

(设计意图:前三个故事发生在愚人节背景之下,这个故事是历史上著名的恶作剧,对于本段的梳理,依然采用问题推进的方法梳理文本,利用图片和背景知识引导学生,为下面讨论埋下伏笔。)

(设计意图:学会猜测故事结尾是阅读课中能力目标之一,通过前面文中的铺垫,对提高学生的发散思维有一个很好的培养。)

(设计意图:根据思维导图的搭建,让他们对于文中所读故事有一个梳理的过程,提高他们综合运用语言知识的目的。)

通过回答问题来完成:
Orson Welles announced that aliens from the Mars had landed on the earth. He made it sound so real that many people believe him. By the time police offers announced that the story was a hoax , thousands of people had left their homes.
Step4 After- reading.
1. Discuss the questions:
1)Which of these stories is the most believable? Which is the least believable? Why?
2)Would you be fooled by of these stories?
2. Summary
设计意图:对上面所学故事的结构总结,也为下面写作做铺垫。

在英语中考中“得阅读者得天下”,所 内容过长,仅展示头部和尾部部分文字预览,全文请查看图片预览。 能力必须足够重视。根据平时教学经验的积累,我觉得可以从以下方面努力:
一、重视学生词汇的积累 。平时课本中的基础词汇必须砸实。另外,课外读物中的词语鲜活、实用、现代气息浓厚,让学生将这些词语也纳入自己的“字典”,在进行课外读物的阅读时,可以让学生将一些重要的词汇,优美的英语句子摘抄下来并尽可能记下来。学生经过长期的积累,持之以恒就会增加词汇量。
二、提高学生阅读的积极性。 在课上,老师应时刻关注学生的发展,努力创造和谐、自然的课堂氛围,激励学生积极主动地参与课堂的各项活动,与老师进行良好的互动,来达到提高学生阅读水平的目的。 在课外,教师要积极创造机会走进学生,了解学生的阅读情况,帮助学生解决阅读中的困难,对学生在阅读过程中遇到的障碍进行分析并解决,这样与学生之间的信任感加强了,对学生阅读情况了解更充分了,学生的阅读兴趣也在不知不觉中增强了。
三、课堂上培养学生的阅读技巧。 例如:重视文章的题目和文章的首句及结构;培养巧妙的猜词能力;培养独立的分析能力;对难度稍大的问题要在反复精读的基础上,认真分析,找出答案。根据提出的问题划出短文中与之有关的句子,以便正确解出问题的答案等等。
