Teaching content 教学内容:Unit 2 What a day!(Cartoon time)

Teaching objectives 教学目标:

By the end of the lesson, the students are able to本课时结束时,学生们可以:

1. understand, read ,say and write the new words and sentences in the cartoon: meet, What happened?;(理解,会读、会说、会写卡通中出现的单词和句型:meet, What happened?)

2. understand, read and say the new words in the cartoon: lose, know, climb up, hold onto, fly away; (理解,会读、会说卡通中出现的单词:lose, know, climb up, hold onto, fly away;)

3. understand, read and act out the cartoon;(理解、会读、会表演卡通故事;)

4.use the simple past tense to express what happened in the past correctly.(正确使用一般过去时表达过去发生的事情。)

Predicted teaching focus教学重点:

2. Understand, read ,say and write the new words and sentences in the cartoon: meet, What happened?;(理解,会读、会说、会写卡通中出现的单词和句型:meet, What happened?)

Step1: Warm up& lead in

1.Sing a song

T: Hello, children! Nice to see you again. What’s the weather like today?

S1: It’s Sunny.

T: Yes, it’s a sunny day. Let’s enjoy a song “How’s the weather today?”. Let’s sing it together.
